    Get well soon, Toey.

And a word of advice...Give the 'furry cup' a wide berth, for a week or two.

Strained right pectoral muscle. So many movements involve the chest (it's the biggest muscle in the body). But I can barely manage the pain if I OD on painkillers and move very slowly. But it just so happened I picked up a cough this week also. So when I cough, I also scream.
“The Master said, At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of Heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”

The Glutious Maximus muscle is the largest muscle in our body. The gluteus maximus is made up of skeletal muscle. It is the uppermost of the three gluteal muscles that make up the human buttocks. It is the most powerful muscle of the human body.

Sitting getting drunk and very pissed off, been away for a few days, eye hospital.
Noticed I couldn't see out of my left eye, dark spot in the central vision, went to the eye doctor in Ubon.
Very good, diagnosed the problem no trouble, macular degeneration, but you need an OCT scan, some German
scanner, high tech can see under the retina and pinpoint the problem.

Don't have one in Ubon, BKK or Khon Kean, so off to Khon Kaen, private eye hospital, 7 hour drive, so an overnight trip.
Again very good service, checks, OCT scan and an injection into the eye, myopic retinal degeneration, injection costs 7,000 Baht.
All good, come back in 4 weeks, head back Sunday for a Monday appointment, but being an internet warrior, I joined the macular
degeneration support group and read the the numerous sites from UK,US, etc on the treatments.

Monday arrive at the hospital, another injection, no scan or tests, say to the same doctor, who's the owner, that's not the procedure I've read about, you wold think I called him a idiot or something.
He gets high and mighty, he's the doctor and knows best and this is the America standard treatment for age related macular degeneration.

I got up, said thank you for your time and walked out, I didn't have age related degeneration, which would mean 4 or 6 weekly injections
    at 7,000 Baht a time.
My condition needs monitoring and injections when needed, which means, depending on the OCT scan months or years between injections.

At a guess no money in a check up, but 7,000 Baht for the injection per month, would have had the needle if the scan showed the the blood vessels
still there, but changing the test results without the scan makes you wonder about the motive.

Eye seems stable, will go to BKK or Australia if it changes,

James, still shows a great deal of patience and tolerance of what life throws your way.

Plus, patience and self-discipline to go to all that fucking trouble and god damn expense.

I'm not sure if I'd rather have an injection in my eye, or take my wife on another driving lesson !

On Sunday she almost went out into a busy road in front of cars.....as they do in Thailand. I had to shout loudly....STOP....NOW !

Being Issaan, she hates to be shouted at, but I could see an accident coming up.

My twitching didn't take too long to settle down......

Should have gone to BKK in the first place, think I choose KK because I had never been there.

Things may have worked out for the best anyway, friend just sent me the name of an eye specialist trained in the USA, not sure which hospital yet.
So a trip to BKK is on the cards, just seems strange that Ubon doesn't have one of these scanners .

Got to go to the dentist tomorrow. I'm shit scared of the fukkers as I apparently have hyper sensitivity (scaredycatalitus).

Apparently I need deep cleaning. Last time I went (4 years ago) it took 7 numbing injections for a bit of drilling and filling.

I'm gonna walk out of there tomorrow with a mouth like a set of bagpipes......BASTARD!!!!

I'm now loading up on white wine and will have 1/2 a Xanny as a night cap
I would post pictures but life's too short.
