^ I've got 3 kids of my own. Beside, the BiL has remarried and has a daughter which he looks after perfectly well. Nah, the BiL needs to face up to his responsibilities and look after his son, or pay someone to do it ie his ex wife. The boy's now aged 10 and has been past from pillar to post since dot one.
Good luck telling a Thai male that oneOriginally Posted by Pragmatic
The same seems to apply to the mother in this case as well.Originally Posted by Dillinger

Gotta love it!
Jan 1 went to local Tesco lite for a few things. Saw sign… cases of Leo beer 2 for 800 baht valid till 5th Jan. After 2pm so cannot buy...Went back today 4th...Staff denies all knowledge..Sigh..
We were in Ubon bigC last week, and no one was able to buy before 5pm something to do with the holiday season.
My moan today is why are there two Daily Moan threads
Chances are the staff bought the lot and sold it on.Originally Posted by crepitas

You are correct Jeff. Whilst the village Tesco won't sell you alcohol to you during certain times, the cop owned restaurant 25 meters away will.Originally Posted by thaimeme
so the one you're subscribed to is the valid one? And you'd have no reason to subscribe to the other one unless you searched for it, eh?
As posted before, I've got a semi adopted daughter, father took off, mother found a new man in BKK, left with the outlaws, FIL, MIL.
I, wife arrive on the scene, around 12 years ago, kids 4 years old, sort of took over responsibility.
Thing that pisses me of most, her father, new wife and child are far from poor, own 2 houses, plus shop houses in Krabi town, palm and rubber plantations, new cars, not talking Baht, but $, well richer then this poor Issan rubber farmer.
Responsibility seems to end, when you can't be bothered anymore, for me, l'll be taking care of her for a long time to come.
Smart kid at school, but, tall and fat, career and no husband, teacher probably..
Good on you Jim. Unfortunately the BiL's son is so neglected by his grandmother, father and mother that he's past my help. There's still a chance with his mother but that's to be discussed. I just don't know how people can just switch off.
Day 5 of what is obviously double pneumonia and at least triple pleurisy, but like a man, I'm trying to drink my way out of it.
^ Well done that man. Carry on.
I can't stand ginger. I've had a few hot toddies if that counts?
What doesn't kill you will make you stronger.
^^ Not even Canadian Dry?
^ For a simpleton, you occasionally come out with some funny stuff.
