No worries Wills thanks for looking
A small study of beach huts on the front row at Walton on naze .
Not much of a painting , but an excersise in the observation of some of the crazy angles involved ,, those roof peak lives are set at 155 degrees !
oil on oil paper ,
oh stop press ,, forgot to mention I got my first decent sale of the year , the bluebell one on the previous page has gone to a new home
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs![]()
Yes mate that one ^
Typical April week here in the Uk ,, biblical amounts of rain one day followed by beautiful bright warm sunshine the next day.
On one of the bright sunny mornings I nipped off down to the local Walton Marina to paint another view as the sun rose
Oil on mdf 225mm square sitting in a beautiful larch float frame I also made
The photo DONT do this one justice , but it is what it is
Happy (belated) birthday, ya old bugger! 3 score & 10? Every year is a bonus now. Enjoy them!
Happy birthday Nigel.
Yes thanks ,, trying to make the most of everyday I have left .
Yesterday I took a small painting trip to my old town of Colchester , unfortunately the previous shipping lane in has now been allowed to silt up beyond use other than the glorified dropouts living illegally mostly in these old wrecks , anyway they make interesting subjects to paint.
Will be back down there for a lot more different angles and objects to paint .
The Hythe at low tide in Colchester oil on oil paper about A4 size
Out in sunny Lanzarote , so unfortunately airlines dictate no oil so it’s the plastic acrylic crap
Im sure this was invented on the 8th day
Anyway it’s better for me than nothing ,, I won’t use that shitty cheesy cover all excuse (( impressionist work )) no it’s not it’s outside my ability with the plastic stuff
A nice choice of colours Nigel.
^^^^^^^70 is a big one Nige
Congratulations and many happy returns
Here's to ya sir
I like the slightly spooky atmosphere in this one
Why don't stick a couple of creepy oddbods in the foreground to give a bit of an Amercian Gothic vibe
Lovely Nige.
I last went to the Canaries in '99, and Morocco in '04, the house reminds me of both. Lovely places.
The house also reminds me of a cute Pokemon Go character.
Not that I ever played it.![]()
Thanks all for the feedback ,, the brushes ain’t getting hung up just yet
^Quids in Nige. Champion
Lovely creeping light on the forest flowers
Lanzarote colours look nice
I cycled round Lanzarote once
Fantastic volcanic landscape
Outstanding Loops!!!

Would love to cycle around Lanzerote!
Lived there for 6 months in the early nineties, great place for surfing, triathletes and cycling.
As well as making money n shagging 2 week Tracey and Sandra's.
Funnily enough I was googling flights and air bnbs for that wonderful Island last night.
Shalom
