Too much hassle for them as its plainly ( or is that planely ) obvious that you are leaving the country.
It hasnt been on the 2nd or 3rd floor for at least 6 months. Its right on the ground floor next to the visa extension window. Go to the information counter and they will give you the form to fill out plus a window number and queue number. Should take about 10 to 15 minutes.Originally Posted by poolcleaner

The 90 day office is on the second floor, room 206 I believe.
I was in it 2 weeks ago!
Well I was there April 28 and it was downstairs. What the hell it moved from the 3rd to the first and now perhaps its gone back to the 2nd.
I am talking about the 90 day TM card reporting on soi suan plu here in BKK.
It says report to window 3 as well.

Still as warm and cordial as ever eh?Originally Posted by poolcleaner
Two questions. One why do you have to go to an office? And unless you are on a yearly visa you dont have to report do you as you are leaving the country every 3 months?
I had an issue with being charged 2,000 baht simply because I (or my boss in fact) wasn't informed of the need to report when renewing my visa.Originally Posted by aging one
I was sent upstairs.
To the office as it turns out.
And then they told you that it's your responsibility and not theirs to keep track of your 90 day reporting ?
Maybe the advises given here before was not that bad after all..
I dont know if I have misunderstood this question, but you have to report every ninety days if you have a non imm B and a WP, but if you only have an non imm B, you have to leave the country every three months and RDN, what kind of visa did you have that the woman tried to give you a three month stamp.Originally Posted by aging one
If it was a non imm B, she was correct.
Lily, it is simpler than that, don't involve visas or WP's.
If you ever stay in the country for a longer period than 90 days, you have to report your address.
Reporting it, or reentring Thailand resets the day counter to zero.

No, I paid at the counter but my requests to see someone in charge had me sent upstairs.Originally Posted by RDN
I kept my cool, as one should do in Thailand, and when I saw I had no exit I happily paid my 2,000 bs. Didn't even mutter between clenched teeth.
It helped that my bossed agrred to reimbuse me though.
You only have to report if you stay longer than 90 days. (Edit: just as Iom said)Originally Posted by Lily
Forget visas, extensions, work permits. The 90 day report is not connected to them.
Lily, I had a non-immigrant "O-A", which allowed me to stay for one year without leaving. Every year I do more paperwork and get my "permission to stay" extended for another year. So because I don't leave the country, I must report to immigration every 90 days.
People who have to leave the country because their visa doesn't allow them to stay as long as 90 days, don't have to report.

If you overstay a 90 day visa are you supposed to report ?
