Thread: Signing In Help?

Hi There all,

Please can you advise on the issue of signing in every 3 months at the local police station to check address etc.
Do we all have to do this?
i am on a non imm b 1 year multi,and been here for a year and not signed in once!
Am i going to face problems?
any help will be great

Trouble. Not too much but you are required to report to immigration anytime you stay longer than 90 days in Thailand. Go to your nearest immigration office and report. You will be subject to a 2000 baht fine unless they have increased it recently.

You can and I do but in robd's case he will have to pay the fine so should go to an office.

so who is best to talk to in the CM/Phrae area for legal advice on visas and comp set ups etc?

All the more reason to use mail as they cannot ask for a fine unless they write him a letter in English.
Keep writing to different offices until it gets passed,

I went overdue by two weeks once and just applied by mail and it was passed without a fine.

I use Nan as CM gave me too many problems.

great advice!!! and i am in cm now but move next month to Wang Chin for good so crazy going in person to cm to pay fine, so shall i do it by post an send to Nan??
do youi have the address etc for Nan and yes please to helpful officers no,always a good idea.

i will grab a TM47 from immigration here in CM,can it be a copy? and send it off and see what happens!

My land,house(not finished) is actually in a little village not far from WC, BAn Punjen, theres a well known B+B/resort there.

No need to go to immigration you can download all these forms from the immigration website

Word and pdf format.
Check which format works best for you because one of them won't print properly for me.
