Hello all, I have decided to build a house in Thailand, I have a Thai wife and our Daughter. I have been looking near Klong Hat, Sa Kaeo, Saraburi. I am being told 70,000-100,000 baht per Rai and since ASEAN is coming, the whole World is going to move to Thailand etc. so now land is worth a fortune. My wifes good and bad family live in that area but I don't want to be too close to them. I would really like 5-10 Rai with mostly trees and green, actually I am open to anywhere in Thailand that seems somewhat safe, near at least some decent town to get normal groceries and building supplies and also has a decent School for the little one. Any input on price in this area and also different areas of Thailand would be grateful, but just not too far from Bangkok.

Also, I have been searching the forum and it is time consuming, is there a good source to learn normal and reasonable prices on building products and labor cost's!
