    Firefox / Teakdoor problem ??

When using Firefox I don't have any of the small blue thread link icons, reply, edit or new thread icons.

I've posted this before, but have just fired up my laptop for the first time in a while and have the same problem.

I've reinstalled Firefox, (3.6 now lovely theme skins for the toolbars) looked at the settings and can't see anything obvious... so.. plug ins? TeakDoor settings??

Any help would be appreciated, I'm done with IE (although obviously using it to start this thread) and if I can't get this fixed, well... I won't be able to reply to any of you anymore... and I know how upset DD will be...

I've found the edit window doesn't work too well either. Yes, I think there are some bugs.

Firefox seems extremely buggy the last couple of versions, I use it most of the time, but I never have any problems with opera at all, just seems firefox aint as good as it used to be.

This is the only site I'm having the problem with, having said that though only on this laptop, Dell Inspiron 6400 intel centrino duo 1gb RAM, no I'm not going to scrap it, it's done me well and has plenty of life in it. Firefox/TD no problems on my MSi wind and not on any public PC's so... yeah can't get my head around it.

Java? How so..? I'll look into it some more and try and update as much stuff as I can, maybe try a complete uninstall/reinstall instead of an update.

mmm... along the right lines or so I thought, but it was enabled, so disabled/abled again, changed advanced setttings.. still the same. looking through all the settings, but can't see anything obvious, don't really want to but think I'll try a full uninstall later.

Yes I think it's the best thing, complete un-install first and then re-install.
My head hurts now though so I'll do it later, gonna kill some bad guys on Bad Company for a while. Cheers.

Probably been trying to block some of the ads and ended up blocking the icons too.

Possibly yes, I had Ad-block plus plug in before, but even when I turned it off I still had the same problem. I didn't bother with abp this time though. It's a bit of a strange one, which I think is just down missing code or compatibility to the previous installation, it was a beta I'm sure.

Sweet as now though, 3.6 has got some amazing skins Firefox Browser | Customize your Web with free add-ons for the toolbar, currently a custom Gibson SG to remind me to get off the 'puter and dust off the guitar, the script resolution is as good as IE8 now, and the spell check prompting is a huge help for me.

V 3.0 and above has had AdBlock built in. Sometimes if you're a bit of a spaz with the mouse you can accidentally block stuff without realising it.
