    cPanel X virus detected warning

Using the file manager in cPanel to try to upload today started spitting out this:

Virus Detected; File not Uploaded! (No such file or directory)

All was fine a couple of days ago.

Now I am pretty sure the files I am trying to upload do not contain anything bad because:

First file was a simple html page that I made with a text editor and contained no scripts or anything
Second file was a jpeg that I made myself
I am working on a Mac
My anti-virus software (ClamXav) is up to date and cannot find anything

After trying with file manager a couple of times I just used ftp to upload the files.

Does anybody know what might be causing this?

    Many thanks melvbot,

I googled the message before submitting this as I was thinking that my webhost might all be out for the weekend and I found that page, I just wanted to be sure it was a host side thing and nothing I could fix.

Happily I just got the following from the support dept. of my host:

We have made some tweaks on server for your file uploading error issue. Now we will suggest you try to upload file at your end and update us with the same.
and everything is working normally again.

    Cool beans
