Be gentile, please.
I'd rather ask here.
I have a Samsung tablet that I bought about 10 months ago new (in US).
How well does Skype work on a tablet?
I have Skype on my laptop (installed it last week for first time in my life).
How about tablets?

As Mr Norton kindly pointed out last week. Most people here use 'LINE'. I hear it's better than Skype.
http://line.me/en/
Line & Skype are different. Line is good for quick phone messages, but also does calls and video calls ok. Skype seems to be built into MS sw and is natural for windows PC calls.
Tablet? Many options, but if it's an android tablet then I'd probably go with Line. If it's a windows tablet then I'd go with Skype. If it's an iTablet then you'll be needing to iFacetime...
Cycling should be banned!!!
I've used Skype using a Samsung Android tablet. It worked fine.

Surely theres more pressing concerns in your life than wondering if skype works on your tablet?
If you look, theres a test call button on there where an automated message is played back for people with no friends.
Why don't you just fucking try it.
Would have saved opening another shit thread.

Works great on the iPad, so I'd imagine it's similar with an Android tablet. It's more about the strength of your connection than anything else- zero issues from the house with my 30MB line, but occasional problems from hotels or shops (especially when using video chat- where the resolution will usually drop and frame rate slows- as opposed to voice-only) where the signal is often significantly weaker.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Many options...
Obviously, all of these apps wanna work across the spectrum of devices. I've found Skype to be a pain in the arse sometimes (so I only use it on my windows laptop), but maybe it has been improved. They probably all work just fine, just try a few and see which one you like...

He's after skype sex.
I bet he knows about these masons handshakes too
which means skype is a good choice as it has the test call featureOriginally Posted by Dillinger

Skype works well on Android, PC, and iPad. It does not work well on more than one device for the same account.
Thank you for the responses.
I'l report back shortly.
I use skype to stay in touch with family. Windows laptop my end, ipad their end. Skype will encourage you to find skype contacts through your email or facebook contacts, if you have any.
I don't have any contacts. I don't have any friends. Well....I have a dog.
On a more serious note, I do not want the vast majority of my email contacts to be connected to me on Skype.
I am mainly using Skype for internet language lessons and to communicate with a couple of select friends (one is in the UK, and a relative that is overseas).
Cheers and thanks.
We use SKPYE all the time on smart phones running Android and tablets as well. No issues at all as long as you have a good internet connection. Line has good texting and voice calling as well on all the devices.
Tins n string - its the fukin bollox... never had a prob...
