Anyone have it at home, looks cheaper than owt else 50 meg download loads of telly for about 800 baht. Is the signal consistent? True is up and down all the time and often get an unstable signal on the phones and cuts off a lot at times on laptops.

I would attempt to answer your question if I could just understand what you are on about ?
I have TOT fibre - 20 meg down / 2 meg up for 800 baht per month
the fibre comes to a fibre modem and then to a wifi access point / router
the wifi access point provides signal for the phones and televisions and laptops to connect - that signal has nothing to do with the fibre
I have had a couple of hiccups over the past year or so with the fibre connection but it is always resumed pretty quick
I have stuck with TOT as I know they are not commercially driven and are unlikely to oversell their bandwidth
TRUE I would avoid as a matter of privacy , as they instituted a bluecoat proxy back in 2007 or 8 and I very much doubt they have stopped now
AIS is a mobile phone company and will just be re selling some one elses fibre
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.
Yup. I have it. I get 20 down and 7 up for i think 825 baht a month. If you have an AIS postpaid mobile contract they give you 30 down and 10 up for the same price.
Its pretty good, my torrents are never throttled like they were with True. Its never gone down yet either.
They also give you a playbox for free, which is an Android TV box. You can download Google's Playstore to it and download any apps to it and Kodi to stream all your movies. Stick Flud on it and download all your torrents. It also has already on it all the Thai TV channels and some in HD.
Yep i would strongly reccommend them.
this must be a new offer then, got the leaflet now - it's 50 down and 10 up plus telly for 888, offer 799 I think that's good. Just have to persuade the mrs she likes True for some phone add on she gets, but True is 889 for 10 meg and it's not so good
We moved into a new house at Saraphee, about 15km south-west of Chiang Mai in March last year and had the internet supplied by 3BB, 630 baht a month for unlimited data.
I don't know how they do it for the price but it is possibly the fastest internet speed I have ever experienced, bar a couple of hotels I have stayed at over the years.
Quite often I will get speeds of 1000 KiB/s downloading movies. Speed does not seem to be affected no matter how much data I use.
I was worried about what the internet would be like out here being so far from town but it is great.
I had a look at the AIS site regarding this product but could not make much sense of it -
AIS Fibre Broadband 1 Gbps high speed internet
