    Thicko need Aircard/LAN 101

Have a device that will talk to a LAN. But the house doesn't have any landline connctions, like ADSL or even simple phoe line. It will all have to be wireless.

So I need a device, I guess like a LAN router that has a slot for a mobile phone dongle so the device can talk to the internet via AIS/True/DTAC. Or even a LAN router that has a slot for a NETSIM?

I am sure there is such a thing but what would it be called so i can find one?
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

You could buy a cheap smartphone, stick a pay as you go 24/7 internet connected SIM card in it for about 299bt a month then switch on the "hotspot" setting and use the provided wireless .

^ Possibility. It has merit. I was looking for something a bit more slick and less likely to be "lifted" by a curious gardener.
