    Smile LibreOffice in Linux

    Hi..has anybody used LibreOffice,? available in some Distro's(operating system in Linux(free)
    Its much easier to use, well to me it is.

    Linux Mint 16 (xfce) is a dream to use.Brasero cd/dvd burner would have to be best I have used.

    Distribution Release: Linux Mint 16 "KDE", "Xfce" (DistroWatch.com News) to Linux.
    I also use Ubuntu 14.04
    Manjaro....another distro

    DistroWatch.com: SolydXK This has some features other don't

    Peppermint..distro (lightweight..good for netbook
    So many programs, all free.

    Its not Spam, some people are scared of Linux, Micro$ doe not have a lot going for it.
    A plug for Linux, thats all.

    You may well be right

    Is it worth time effort for homeuser how can we be sure a download is "clean" and wouldn't trust an Linux sold in Thailand
    Is it worth the hassle and is it compatible
    When visit UNi in Uk they say everything is only PC compatible I use myown macbook and never stick a USB in their drives for hygiene

    What are the advantages/disadvantages, excuse my joke only tring to be ligh hearted but BIFF was a bear when I was a kid

    LibreOffice has a Windows version. It's main plus is it's significantly cheaper than MS Office.
