The screen shot is a bit small but readable. Thanks in advance to anyone who can come up with a constructive solution!

Thanks but I'll stick with Outlook. Better features.

I might install Office 2010 and there's a heap of features there.

Yeah, not being able to get email is a great feature for a mail client!

Window's password management is a fucking disaster in my experience. I have Outlook 2010 which like to crash on occasion and I usually have to re-enter the main account's password.

And yes, I prefer Thunderbird, but it doesn't work properly with MS Sharepoint crappy email system.

When I bought my last computer - a Sony laptop couple of years ago I asked the salesman (this was in a Sony store in Zeer - Rangsit) if he would install Office 2003 as that was the 'suite' I was used to on my XP machine.

Big mistake. It appears Office 2003 has an incompatibility issue(s) with Windows 7 so a shop in Suphan City installed Office 2007 and haven't had a problem with either machine until this network password thing which I now believe was caused by changing passwords in gmail.

Actually, for my purposes, Office 2010 has 'too much' and I don't think I'll install that.

Thanks to all who contributed to this thread.

it's not a network password, it's the windows box for your gmail password

if you change your password in gmail.com, of course you will need to enter the correct password in that popup box, that's a given.

Not sure how you could have missed that.

I'm not sure either but as previously stated it's been one giant brain fart on my part. Thanks again for your help!

Actually, I don't watch Fox News - heh. True Visions doesn't provide it and I can't be arsed to stream it on my computer.

Was up in China when this whole sorry tale started. Changed the password in gmail and promptly forgot that I had done that. Distracted or something...
