Diana Krall....One of the most amazing songs on her album....part written by Clint Eastwood
Cavalleria Rusticana ....Sensational .... Overused in television though.

Daft Punk singing about Lust and Love. Best song of 2013
This is absolutely beautiful........ it's just got this peaceful vibe.... it's definitely a 'first dance' song at a wedding reception.
I stumbled across this song today..
Listening to it, I remember when this question came up between me and my dad. Does anyone else remember how when we were young we knew everything? Now it seems like I know less and less every year...
Waylon Jennings - Where Corn Don't Grow..
As we sat on the front porch
Of that ole gray house where I was born and raised
And stared out at the dusty fields
Where daddy always worked hard every day
I think it kinda hurt him, when I said
Daddy there's a lot that I don't know
But don't you ever dream
About a life where corn don't grow
He just sat there silent
Staring in his favorite coffee cup
I saw a storm of mixed emotion
In his eyes when he looked up
He said, Son I know at your age it feels
Like this old world is turning slow
And you think you'll find the answer
To it all where corn don't grow
Hard times are real
There's dusty fields no matter where you go
You may change your mind
'Cause the weeds are high where corn don't grow
I remember feeling guilty
When daddy turned and walked back in the house
I was only seventeen back then
But it seems like I knew more than I do now
I can't say he didn't tell me
This city lifes a hard row to hoe
It's funny how a dream can turn around
Where corn don't grow
But hard times are real
There's dusty fields no matter where you go
You may change your mind
'Cause the weeds are high where corn don't grow
You may change your mind
'Cause the weeds are high where corn don't grow
"Whoever said `Money can`t buy you love or joy` obviously was not making enough money." <- quote by Gene $immon$ of the rock group KISS
You wish you looked this good at their age...
It's not a bad quality video, it's the confetti!
FWIW; this was just over 90 days ago!
Don't forget two nites at Budokan Arena in Tokyo on Oct 23-24!!
Like Paul Stanley said, "If you can't sing along after the second chorus, the song is too fuckin' hard..."

Chris Botti & Katharine McPhee with Sinatras signature song....sexy feminine magic and masculine charisma.
First recorded by Elvis in 1961. UB40's take on it is, breathless, brassy, incredible with a fabulous video to accompany it.
Great vid,......song once banned from public broadcast in Canada because of the use of " Little Faggot " in lyrics.
From the opening guitar riff to the end of the piano part, Layla is a classic rock classic. Its all about Clapton's love for George Harrison's wife Patti Boyd.
I've always thought this wasis the best named band ever simply bc my parents always said 'Why do you listen to that garbage?' during my entire adolescence and beyond (RIP folks). I used to think they were a synth band but I still bought their albums. But I watched this entire concert on TV (from 2012) the other night and they can seriously rock. The crowd was stunned and amazed.
“The Master said, At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of Heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”
Why would anybody look in Computers Can Be Fun/The Multimedia Forum to find this thread?
I never listen to music through speakers, having allus lived in a condo. Get yourself a DVD/CD/MP3 player. It doesn't have to be expensive. Mine cost somthin like 1900THB. But get a decent set of headphones. Mine were like $80. But the kicker is a headphone amp. This little gem connects your head phones to the player. So you need a male-to-male plug to connect the amp to the player and connect your headphones into the amp. This is the baby I got (cost: $300)Originally Posted by youneverknow

Now the only ambient noise I ever hear is tinnitus.
