The things we regret most is the things we didn't do
This is for David44 and KEVIN2008.
Cool cat looking for a kitty ...
Somewhere in this vid you'll see some rare footage of The Shifters during a rehearsal (including a lead solo from Betty at around the two minute mark).
Mary J. Blige sang this with Bono in 2006 for a benefit for victims of hurricane Katrina. Blige then recorded it with Bono and U2 for her album "Reminisce".
Beautiful and either way you slice it, it's a very applicable song to many situations.
Lovely, lovely song. Chapman duets with Pavarotti ,...it's a *little* cheesy but still effective...

Some of you should just be arrested, others flogged and still others (you know who you are, ES!) shot for their taste in 'music'.
Here's some quality for youse:
I have noticed Coldplay has been getting shat upon in various quarters hereabouts and you certainly could do worse than The Smashing Pumpkins (Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, both discs, are still favs of mine). Cheers, mate.Originally Posted by Bettyboo

1973, wow. A great year for Music. Led zep, houses of the holy, Pink Floyd, dark side of the moon, David Bowie, Aladdin Sane, Lenard Skynard Freebird, Genisis, selling England by the Pound, Alice Cooper, Billion Dollar Babies, Stones Goats Head Soup, (to name but a few) some AWESOME music that year.
And you were listening to Hall and Oates.
I'm not a big Thai music fan.. but there are a few songs I really like... this is one of my favorites... I can even sing it (badly) at karaoke. If you don't know it... you have no biz being in Thailand.. (just kidding.. kinda)...
Awesome thread by the way...
Loso - Jai Sung Ma
Last Thai song (promise) This is my favorite..
We played this song Utada Hikaru "First Love" at our wedding.
I first heard this song when I was still in high school...I just thought it was a hauntingly beautiful 'Chinese song'... little did I know, it was actually Japanese 55...
Cujo, you do know about the httpS, don't you?
Here's another classic as punishment for breaking the page!
