So, you old bastards, what was better, Lambretta or Vespa?

There's a few younger second and third generation mods on here although granted maybe not old but most probally b'stards.

Lambretta is far cooler than the Vespa!
The Vespa is reliable and the lambretta prone to breaking down and knackering up one's knees pushing it home(not for the old guys).

Must of missed all of that then? Didn't see many scooter's on the road after the early seventies and the mods gave way to the suede-heads with their Crombies who faded into the skinheads with their braces with half-mast jeans and Doc Martens. The rocker's and biker's have managed to keep going though but I don't see much evidence of the mods still in existence.
