Pattaya Pics from the Best Thailand Forum

Just so you know, teakdoor is the best Thailand Forum, anyway I thought I would add some day time pictures of Pattaya every now and again of the common stuff that we get to see everyday.

So first up whats the commonest site in Pattaya apart from prostitutes and bars? Motorbike accidents, and with motorbike accidents you quite often get dead people, this couple, mother and daughter I assume, didn't have a crash helmet between them, they were on their way to Sukhumvit Road when a minivan decided to do a uturn in front of them, the old lady looked pretty dead and quite a reasonable amount of blood was on the road from a head wound, luckily they are Buddhist so get to live again unlike us heathens, still prefer the idea of a crash helmet over a broken skull though.



Of course with death comes religion and what better than a photo of the Buddha tree on Walking Street, suprised nobody has chopped it down yet as it takes up most of the pavement.



I liked this Pattaya speedboat, it's probably not used at the moment but the name is good, Hi Tech Submarine Co. Ltd.

Anyway onto more normal things, Mikes Shopping Mall on Pattaya second road buses the tourists in so the car park is full of stalls, mainly selling fruit so you can guess the tourists aren't Euros, luckily they have a mobile cocktail stall for thirsty farangs, quite good those VW Buses.



And for the kids and fat people an ice cream parlour kiosk.

Plenty of German bars in Pattaya if thats your thing.

Onto more common sights seen in Pattaya, of course food is everywhere, sadly it is mainly Thai food, but nothing wrong with a bit of BBQ fish to go with your chips.



Pattaya Land 2 is turning more gay as time goes on, all the gay stuff used to be in Boys Town on Pattaya land 3, it spread to Pattaya land 1 and is now spreading like an uncontrolled disease onto Pattayaland 2.



Always wondered about this car on the wall in Walking Street, oneday it will fall down, I'm willing to bet on that.

If you are an Indian and have just been to Koh Larn and start exposing yourself on the speedboat this is the most likely place you will try to hide out, they will find you though, for some reason the Pattaya online news have 2 different restaurant names, anyway it is the Raj mahal on Walking Street.

If you like the back entrance here it is to Walking Street at the Bali Hai end.



There's quite a clubs and discos down that end, probably because it's too far for the police to walk to so they can get away with late openings etc.

Sorry Pat but I rarely go to Lotus, I really hate shopping, so a couple of beach photos, this isn't quite Pattaya but infact is Jomtien, about 1 or 2km down near the new View Talay condo and Furama Hotel I think it is called, nobody there during the week and very few people that far down Jomtien at the weekend.

^^ Pattaya has everything anyone would ever want whether you are a family man or a full~on sex tourist.

You just have to know where to look for the things that make you happy and some of the members here are unfairly one-eyed when it comes to Pattaya.

Just ignore them mate and crack on and have the time of your life.
