Some a y'all might not consider Fox News an accurate source of News...but, guess what? This guy Glenn Beck is spot-on w/respect to 'end times'. Believe it - it's coming:
Beck in a full-on survivalist mode.

Pretty spot on there Boony.
I just built an underground pool pump room I may convert to a bomb shelter.
Its going to affect the rich and poor alike and no matter where you are sitting on this earth.
Yep, I Tivo GB daily and watch it when I can... I saw the survivalist piece last week also and it scared the shite out of me... Was going to post the episode, but it hadn't been posted to utube yet...
Phoenix Arizona being the #2 location in the world for kidnappings strikes a bit close to home...
Some say he flounces quite a bit, but I feel he's right on target most of the time...
And for the red & blue crowd, GB is a Libertarian...
Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Glenn Beck recently moved to FOX.
He is a simple. No problem with that. He admits it.
His audience is simple. He has to be simple.
He has the economic knowledge of a 10th Grade high school student. And then he puts up graphs and charts and shining and flashing visuals to enforce his point.
In sum: read.
Get your information from reading.
Not watching TV (Glenn Beck).
BTW, I often post Glenn Beck's video interviews and discussions on the "Strongest Economy in the World" thread.
If you want to see, Beck, go there.
............
Beck turned into a raving lunatic once he got on Fox and it was probably a main condition in his contract
Even amongst the flouncing, there are truths within the grains of salt...

Beck's funny. Better than Olbermann or Maddow, who are both rabid libbie-spitting sickos.
So Milky, just what has GB gotten wrong -or- on what issues do you feel that he is pushing an agenda???
No news outlet is going to provide complete coverage of a topic and what coverage they do carry will have their spin... There's only so much information you can derive from a 30 sec news bite... It's up to us to dig further to find our own truth... Yes, it's called reading...
What I like about GB is that he covers stories that others don't... He carried the Muzzammil Hassan story this past week when no one else would, he rants regularly about the lack of security in Mexico and the southern border of the US, he's digs out issues that the other news outlets don't touch... He gave Ron Paul considerable coverage during the 08 election when no other new outlet would give him the time of day... All issues related to the future security of the US... I have to agree with Ghandi that since he's moved from CNN to Fox, his behavior is a bit over the top, but there is no debating that he takes these issues seriously...
On balance, O'Reilly is an ass...

I think he's right. However it's laughable that poeple will believe him because he is on Fox. Yet others have been warning long before this, including Ron Paul but the were sardonically laughed at.
Just conspiricy.
Probably to late for the sheeple. When unemployment hit 33% plus, which is expected, the people will take to the streets when they have nothing else to lose.
You bullied, you laughed, you lied, you lost!
It's not about "getting an issue, or issues wrong."
It's the way his opinions are presented. He cherry picks stats, doesn't cite sources, uses weasel words, and card stack numbers.
Agenda? I don't know if he has an agenda. That's never been apparent, but he is not an independent like he claims. He's a cryptic GOPer. It's better for ratings, and safer to claim to be an independent for these TV show personality.
Again, his economic discussion are at the high school level.
As stated, I see his interviews and show on an regular basis from "economicrot" blog.
You've got to love "Fox and Friends." I know morning programming isn't exactly the high point of the cable news industry, but Steve Doocy and the gang seem to sink to new depths every time I see them.
As for Beck, he's actually toned his raving down quite a bit. About 8 years ago I was in the habit of listening to his show quite a bit, as I was for most talk radio shows. Beck took the Angry White Man route. It's the surest way to success in talk radio. Nobody wants to tune in to someone who makes informed, reasoned arguments, or who gives their callers and interviewees time to actually answer questions or rebut claims. The position of talk radio (or TV for those who, like Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Ingraham, etc., have crossed over) demagogue is a bully pulpit. Contradictory voices are shouted down. Angry people want to tune in to hear/see their angry representative "sticking it to the man," whether that man be the liberal media, immigrants, homosexuals, communists, or what have you.
Beck rode that horse until it got him his MSNBC gig, I think it was. He had to tone it down then if he wanted to stay on the air. (Remember what happened to Michael Savage on his ill-fated cable show?) Now Beck's cleaned up his act and tries to sound like he spends all his spare time reading books. Good for him if he does.

Seems like total fear mongering to me by a group of losers who still can't get over their party losing the recent election.
Yup, that sums it up quite nicely.
The clever, pig-faced media whore Glenn Beck never bites the hand that feeds him. Although he can push some hot buttons with angry white folks, he rarely goes after the corporate power structure or criticizes Israel. It's a bit cowardly, but gets him a nice paycheck. He's like Lou Dobbs with rabies. Beck's only redeeming quality is that he gives Ron Paul some air time.
If you really believe this guy then you should start preparing for the end of the world as we know it. I wonder how many who say they support this guy will actually use their cash to prepare for the horrible times ahead.
Fox news beats Hitler's propaganda machine.

I take Beck and anybody who says "like me" with a grain of salt. Still, he is amusing.

I'll post this Glenn Beck presentation from his show below: (Note: I'll also put it in the "Strongest Economy in the World" thread, so don't view it twice.
The following presentation is for the masses - his audience. It's for people that don't follow these topics, much. But it is important for these viewers to have an idea about what is going on.
Here's a couple points about how Glenn Beck presents information. I don't like his references, and oversimplification.
1. Barney Frank and Pelosi are mentioned. Yes, I think they spend too much. But so did the GOP and GWB, and so does the GOP, today. It's about about partisnaship.
2. Mao & China. Mao Tse-Tung is dead. This is very stupid.
3. His joke about "fat" glenn and "fat" Frank are stupid, and for silly entertainment value.
However, the general presentation is the way it works. And yes, China apparently has become a little more hesitant for loan the US money.
Here is is: Comments? Opinions:
The US was really making great gains on paying off that debt while Bush was in.![]()
Remember the 90s when these so called militias full of middle aged white guys were formed to fight the encroachment of federal power from the Clinton years? Wtf happened to them when Bush came to office? Didn't hear a peep from them for eight years while Bush shredded the Constitution. Now they're woofing it up for the cameras. An insurgency from these jokers? They don't have the balls, organization, resources, or the local support to last more than one day against the US military. This is what an insurgency involves. What's with These Stupid War Pundits Telling U.S. Allies to Commit National Suicide? | | AlterNet
How many people flocked to Timothy McVeigh's cause after the Oklahoma City bombings? Bueller? Bueller?
^ The militias were given television time because the Clinton administration and his Justice dept had an agenda; hate-crime legislation and gun legislation. Clinton told the Justice dept. to increase prosecutions of what can be deemed racially motivated crimes and increase prosecutions of gun-oriented crime in order to gin up the statistics. The media played their part by putting militia kooks on television, especially the white supremacists up in Idaho, to frighten citizens into going along with Clinton's program. One of the reason the feds went out to the Waco compound was because of the large cache of weapons and ammo.
As far as Beck goes, it's too much drama for me. He was more subdued on Headline News.
It appears that some have got a taste for Asian food.Remember the 90s when these so called militias full of middle aged white guys were formed to fight the encroachment of federal power from the Clinton years? Wtf happened to them when Bush came to office?
Another much-watch for y'all who believe The One will save us!
The Glenn Beck Program - Media Center
Well, it worked for the Lamestream Media when they were bashing Dubya: Glenn Beck strikes ratings gold by challenging Barack Obama. And it’s working for Rush Limbaugh. The BO White House’s lashing out at critics by name provides more added incentive...heh
