Most of the stuff posted here is rubbish.

Australia is built on immigrants, admitedly a lot more fortunate than these guys.

Just remind me, who did the aussie PM recently apologise to, and why did he do so.

    Poacher turned gamekeeper.......shameless

Children pack first boat of asylum seekers to be sent to Malaysia
    Kirsty Needham
    August 5, 2011

Testing time ... there will be pressure on the federal government, including from Labor's own left faction, not to deport unaccompanied children.

CHRISTMAS ISLAND: People smugglers have thrown down the gauntlet to the Gillard government, crowding the first boat to arrive since the Malaysia swap policy took effect with 19 children, including 14 unaccompanied minors.

More than a third of the 55 passengers were children. Many appeared to be teenagers. It was a scenario the government had wanted to avoid with its tough message that children could also expect to be deported.

The Immigration Minister, Chris Bowen, yesterday maintained his firm stance, saying ''there are no blanket exemptions'' under the policy and all asylum seekers can expect to be sent to Malaysia.

The opposition immigration spokesman, Scott Morrison, said: ''It's a catch-22 of the government's own making.''

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is scrutinising how Australia deals with vulnerable cases, particularly unaccompanied children, and has told the government it wants special cases carefully assessed.

There will be pressure on the government, including from Labor's Left faction, not to deport unaccompanied children.

There are also concerns this could encourage people smugglers to fill more boats with children if they see a loophole.

The asylum seekers, including 36 adults, were unloaded at Christmas Island about 9am yesterday. Later in the day a flight carrying a high-level delegation of Malaysian police, immigration officials, translators and security contractors arrived.

The Australian Federal Police conducted ''fit to travel'' assessments and collected bio-data required under the terms of the deal. The group was then moved to a centre at Phosphate Hill, an immigration detention facility that has not housed children since 2005.

The asylum seekers were then read a statement telling them they would not be able to stay in Australia and would be sent to Malaysia.

Single men among the group were taken on to the main North West Point detention centre while families and children remained at Phosphate Hill. Those on the boat were mostly Afghan and some Pakistani.

Mr Bowen said 19 asylum seekers were clearly or claimed to be minors. Three had arrived with parents and two with an adult brother or sister. ''The process now begins to transfer these people to Malaysia,'' he said.

Mr Bowen confirmed the asylum seekers could be transferred to Malaysia in smaller groups. Men are expected to be processed more quickly. What to do with the children will be more difficult for the government.

Meanwhile, the remaining child in detention on Christmas Island before the new boat arrived was moved to the mainland yesterday. Illness had prevented the Hazara boy, an unaccompanied minor, leaving when his group was moved.

    It is absolutely fuked.

Yep, the situation is truly foked up, the scum pay a shit load of money for the boat trip so they are not a true refugee's arsehole.

My taxes goes towards to supporting these arse holes with free housing, medical, food and social security whilst some of our own people live on the streets.

The labor government lead by the " Wranger " is at last trying to short circuit the scam by sending these throttlers to Malaysia to join the cue for entering Australia as genuine refugees. In other words join the foking line and go through the correct process.

The Liberal government is kicking up saying that they could possibly be mistreated but in reality its all for political point scoring by a cock sucker named Tony Abbott .

At this very minute I'm watching the latest bunch of refo's being transported to the mainland, 200 +, All well dressed and looking a million dollars.

Genuine refugees ??? Fok off will YA.

The bleeding hearts need only look at that shit hole England to see what happens when a government lets all and sundry through the door.

Yep, its a matter of which bottom do you want to be fuked in ? The front bum or the back bum.

The idea is to send the message that if you rock up on a boat you will be sent to Malaysia for processing, this will rock there foking world and make the munters think twice before rocking over.

The people Australia will accept from Malaysia would of been deemed genuine refugees which these boat people are not.

Don't let Rodney rock your boat mate, he lives in Thailand as theres no foking way he would move back to England.

He did try to get into Aussie when he was a young fella but couldn't raise the 10 quid.

A mate of mine was convinced that there was an unrepealed law that said if you curse the monarch on Tower Bridge, the punishment was deportation.

Sadly for him, when he tried it in front of PC Plod, he was laughed at and told to fuck off.

The do gooders are having a massive cry because of the Governments policy not to roll over and exempt children being sent to Malaysia but the smugglers have bunged 14 unaccompanied children on the boat on purpose to test the system.

My money is on the Government rolling over regards the children.

Just announced on the news that the plane will fly on Sunday.

Fair enough, your entitled to your opinion.

What about the shit that put them on the boat in the first place ?

The parents don't care nor do the smugglers as long as they get the money.

Australia should never be held to ransom by people smugglers.

They don't give a flying fuk about the children and it will be an avalanche of more children if the Government rolls.

Whats your solution then. ? Just let them all in EH.

Correct. Stopping them at source is the best solution, and the easiest way to do that is to publicise ZERO TOLERANCE.

Send every single man, woman and child back so that they can see there is fuck all point in paying a trafficker a fortune for what is essentially a round trip.

Just as I thought, you offer up no solution except to say its compounding Evil.

The Evil starts and ends at there end, just shows what sort of people we are dealing with that are prepared to risk there own childrens life on a boat trip to Australia.

The children wont die in Malaysia but very well could have on that boat trip.

We need to not blink on this issue, they must be sent to Malaysia.

Once the boat people realize we are serious and playing hard ball the Smugglers are out of business.

This is what the government is trying to achieve and if a few children need to go to Malaysia so be it.

We need to be firm on this or the smugglers win.

The vast majority of Australia is pissed off with this issue and fuked if we want to end up like England.

    great another bleeding heart.

Kids are put on the boat by family and the fare is paid, the papers are full of this story but if you object to the kids the do gooders fall out of the sky, and concerned so called citizens take out warrents in the federal court to stop them being sent anywhere and if you agree with them being sent you will be classed as a racist.
most aussies agree it is out of hand.
simple let them wait in the que like all the rest.
Its bull shit 70% of these alleged refugees are living off welfare once given status.
Then there is the $5.000 for having a baby a nice aussie passport holder day he is born he can also sponsor a family member to come and look after him, and the unacompainied ones apply for their parents to come to australia to look after them once you have a visa you can sponosor a relative to come to australia.
    and the shit goes on.
call me racist i will take it on advisement

    straight to malaysia
