Dubai: Italian given four months for molesting sleeping air passenger, touching himself



Dubai, 28 March (AKI) - An Italian man on Tuesday was given a four-month sentence by a Dubai court for molesting a female air traveller who was sedated by a sleeping pill and alcohol during a flight from Jakarta to Dubai.

Prosecutors say that RK, 53, on 4 December grabbed the woman's leg who was sitting next to him and massaged her foot as he masturbated, according to Abu Dhabi-based English-language newspaper The National.

An American flight attendant testified that she saw RK take the woman's leg and then spotting him taking off his shirt and touching himself.

She moved the victim to another seat with the permission of a supervisor.

The supervisor said RK found the victim and tried to sit next to her again, but the crew did not let him and the flight captain notified police, the report said.

RK will be deported after he serves out his prison term.

lucky he is. Muslim country and all. I could write volumes more about Dhubai's draconian laws, but it seems jerking off twice while holding the foot of a sedated passenger is a minor crime. With only 4 months he will get timed served as well. Argh~~
