Given we have a population that's been protected from sin in so many ways and taught that respecting women is a matter of treating them like a slave; this incident is the inevitable consequence of sending a blond haired women in to a place with non law enforcement and inadequate security. Did she deserve what happened to her?, no.

The interesting question is did she fight for this assignment or was she sent; because that will tell us who was the incompetent fool that for her in this mess.

^She is the CBS "chief foreign correspondent". She would have killed herself before missing out on the story of the week. She put herself in the situation. She is now milking being groped by the mob for every bit of news (about her) she can generate. And, America's uneducated and insulated sheep, who believe every word these overblown talking head retards utter, are now hailing her "courageous journalism". Which, as I said before, is just what she planned when she, and CBS, released this "story".

I remember a few years ago many new students from Arabcountries/Iraq/Iran etc attending the local university were given a lecture on how to behave in the West. A lot of them had previously thought that women dressed with revealing clothes were whores and therefore could be grabbed, a reasonable assumption if they had never been out of their own culture

It's been a while, but every so often, one of the sexpats from Europe or the USA thinks that every woman in Thailand is "available" then grabs and gropes their way into a jail cell. I've read several of those stories here, just not recently.
