    Foul-mouthed toy strikes wrong note

    Foul-mouthed toy strikes wrong note

Leigh McPherson with baby daughter Mia Halligan and the swearing puppy

A MOTHER was shocked when a cuddly toy she bought for her baby daughter started to swear at them.

Leigh McPherson, 20, from Banbury, bought a My Pal Violet cuddly puppy from an Asda store as a present for her daughter’s first Christmas.

It was supposed to help her four-month-old daughter Mia Halligan learn to talk, but Miss McPherson said she could not believe what happened when she pressed its paw.

She said: “We opened the toy on Boxing Day at my friend’s house, because you have to plug it into a computer.

“We got it out of the box, plugged it in and then it started to sing.”

But the words she heard were not what she had expected:
“If you’re happy and you know it f*** with me,
if you’re happy and you know it, f*** with me,
if you’re happy and you know it, and you really want to show it,
if you’re happy and you know it f*** with me.”
Miss McPherson said: “I just thought it would be a nice Christmas present for her, but I was horrified when I heard it.

“I have played it to all my friends and we’re all sure it’s saying a swear word.

“No-one believes me at first, but when they hear it, they start to laugh and know I’m telling the truth.”

LeapFrog toys, the manufacturer of the £22 puppy, has now recalled all stocks of the toys and sent a letter of apology to Miss McPherson.

The company has also offered to send her a replacement toy, which she has been assured will not swear.

She added: “We’re quite lucky, because Mia is too young to understand what it’s saying.

“But my three-year-old niece Madison came round the other day and picked it up without us realising.

“Now she keeps singing the song and we can’t stop her.”

A spokesman for LeapFrog Toys said: “We take all customer complaints extremely seriously and were sorry to hear about the upset this has caused the family.

“We take these issues very seriously and have already reviewed our recording process to ensure the highest standards.

“We have apologised to the family and offered to replace the product.”

Miss McPherson said: “I would have found it quite funny if it had been an adult toy.

“But somehow it’s not as funny when it’s for your baby daughter.”

So the schizophrenic cow gets her 15 minutes of fame. I think it's quite funny. Usually when you read the word "shocked" you know the story is about a twat.

So pay me some money cause I am a dumb bitch that left the toy out for kids to play with.

    This should have read:

“I just thought it would be a nice Christmas present for her, but I was horrified when I found out that I could have made more money putting a video of it on Youtube than giving away the story to the Oxford Mail."

The silly cow should be severely spanked for making her daughter wear that stupid ribbon on her head. The photo shows the daughter is pissed off, and has no ability to correct the out dated fashion style.

Sure. I'm positive that the infant was terribly offended. Offending and threatening items are real, only as a learned trait.
