^^That said, it's getting harder. All my stuff expires Sunday on my birthday. I already renewed my driver's license (getting three years instead of the two I had before, and accomplishing the entire process in 100 minutes - a country record), and all of my gun licenses. Next step is to attack the concealed carry permit again. It gets harder each time I do it. But I reckon I will eventually prevail. My wife and driver will have no problem, but, as a foreigner, I have to work the system, and my contacts, harder.

I would bet he was carrying a Glock 30- it kicks like a bitch, but it's a pretty compact .45 (and if you live in Florida, you have to own at least one Glock- I think it's state law).

I've read blacks have harder skulls, so a small caliber gun like a 22 or 32 won't always do the job. The Giffords chick even survived a 9mm shot to the head, the trauma units in most US cities are very good too, because they deal with so many gun shot wounds. I know a guy who was shot seven times after being robbed last year and he survived, he has to wear a colostomy bag now though.

in an attack it will be a body shot. Maybe when he goes down a head shot, but an attack its shot the mass which is the body.

I don't know about that. You're better off going for a head shot if you're close to the person, a lot of people are wearing bullet proof vest today.

^They still go down, bullet proof vest or not, it hurts. ie bones broken etc. ie where ever it hits you in the chest it will be the hardest punch you ever have had.

You're talking shite mr gribbs, most people would miss a head at 20 metres and who really wears body armour around the streets?

As to the op, good on him and also good on the prosecutors/police who realised him without charge, for once a sensible decision.

People don't aim for the head, people learn to shoot on target ranges, the target is the top half of a person, the centre is the center of the chest, so they learn to shoot at the center of the chest, this is ingrained, he gets whacked in the face he aint going to change what he learned, not that it makes a lot of difference with a .45.

AK is not a great gun.
Simple, and hard wearing, but 762 is over the top really.
    Had Laosy's refurbed last year.
Better now but still not great.
Got a wessy as well. Have to keep that in sewing machine oil cos the humidity rots it.
