I am still trying to figure out how anyone can tip a container lorry over on a flat straight road where nothing goes faster than 20 kph.
Saw it yesterday on Sukhumvit at Ekkamai.
Just imagine what these people could achieve at high speed!
I've seen it done in the UK at under 4mph.Originally Posted by Thormaturge

Iv'e a Primera, didn't know they went that fast, only two minutes from the A24, must pop out and give it a try. kidding, too old for the speed thing now.
We used to race on the M25 on Sundays on the way to the site, didn't go over 120mph though, used to be about 6 cars, the 3.0 toyota supra always won though![]()
was on the M27 in uk a couple of years ago at 1am. Empty road in a jaguar xkr, somehow ended up with a lotus elise and a fellali 575 in convoy, nudging faster and faster till we were cruising along nicely at 140mph for a 50 mile stretch. Very silly - but that lotus looked alot of fun.
I'm grown up and mature now so it's 80mph, cruise control and radio 4. plus I already got 9 points on my uk licence.
Used to be a bloke over on Thai Visa who would drive from Petchabun to Bangkok in 2 and a half hours , reaching speeds of 160 kph. Wonder if he's still alive or has been caught yet ?
I have to avoid Park Lane at all costs, i really don't know why but if i use that road i drive like an idiot, really brings out the worst in me!
Was in Switzerland few weeks ago and they just catched new speed record for the year on highway few days ago was told.
A Mercedes modified by AMG, and at the wheel was a Rom.
Police asked why what , he calmly said that the speedmeter does not work anymore !
They checked and his statement was true.
I went on this highway few decades ago with a big Suzuki bike and at 200km/h it is a curve after the other, left right left right...
Had a timber truck swoon whilst crawling at close to zero on a downhill bend of the mountain stretch between Kalasin and KKaen. We were behind, could've easily overtaken because he was at a virtual standstill and moving just a few inches each time he eased off the brake...and the yakkers stopped telling me to go go go when he started tipping over in slow motion. Almost felt sorry for the driver.
I know.
140 mph.
That's cruising speed on a big bike.
Good advertising for Nissan.
