Didn't one European country throw a British Historican on WW2 into prison? Land of the free eh?
The firebombing of Dresden, and the other deliberate bombing of civilian targets by the RAF and the American Air Forces were every bit as much evil war crimes as anything the Germans did. The nuclear bombing of 2 Japanese cities were worse. At least that generation had the intelligence not to go after low ranking soldiers who truly did follow orders. The persecution of these 85 year old men in Germany now (after 65 years) is politically correct insanity.

I can't do nothing but agree with most of your points here. These old UK soldiers were terrorist in the eyes of many, they had no problem killing women and children. It is insane to have the young soldiers on one side be prosecuted, while soldiers on the other side are consider heroes for killing innocent people. A lot of these creeps knew what they did was wrong, that is why so many of them became drunks. Anyone who thinks what they did was heroic or great is a brain dead nationalist.

Excellent posts if they weren't so ridculous...

Dresden, great show and a bloody good burn up for sure!

Berlin, bombed the shit out of it and another good show!

Cologne, 1,000 bombers knocked the shit out of the place!

Bomber Harris...great bloke knighted (Sir Arthur to you tossers) and made decisions others couldn't.

I could go on but I won't, other than to say....

    Final score Allies 2 - Germany 0

(Bit like the football really but so much more fun)

F*cking great show all round and so pleased it still pisses off the namby, pamby left wing wankers of the world today!
