    Lockerbie

I'm hearing tonight about the British PM having to go and excuse BP for supposedly helping the Libyan Lockerbie bomber off doing time to get an oil contract or a few.

    Are they taking the piss?

Who pissed off the Libyans in the first place?

    Clue: It wasn't Ronnie Reagan.

Fuck me, I can't believe that people swallow this shit.

You get what you vote for.

If anyone here can give me a legitimate reason why this is even news, I would love to hear it.

The news is suggesting that the Brits gave back the bomber to help their oil company BP. Another reason never to trust England. At the time was ridiculous. Where were the complaints then? When people suggest corruption especially when it comes to oil companies typically the governments say nothing. I guess enough people in the US are pissed off that the news people have brought it up again. BP's ass is under the microscope.

Yep. For me, it's quite a depressing world. For others, its just the way you do things. One minute a group says Never Forget and the next they say What? That was years ago!

One of the biggest c*nts of the lot:

As the joke went: Q: "How do you know Saddam has WMDs?"

    A: "We've got the receipts".

And as for asking where all the billions that went into Afghan reconstruction went?

    O RLY?

Tony Blair did make a deal to release Magrahi possibly in exchange for contracts for british companies. The deal fell flat on it's arse when it was leaked to the press. This was before Magrahi was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
