I'm not a woman, but I feel attacked when I see burkas and niqab. What is under this piece of material can see me but ban me from seeing them. I feel spied by something pervert that totally disregard me.
A little bit precious aren't we... feel them same with motorcy drivers wearing a face mask?

Halloween must be hell! Lock the door to keep away from the pervert spies.

well, if you are of the belief that Islam is a force for social good, justice and human well-being why not write a long post to put your point of view, we are waiting for somebody to do it. Seems we get a lot of news about the evil of Islam (101 lashes for rape victim) but nothing to put the other side of the coin from posters determined excuse this regrettable cult.

    regrettable cult.
What a sad, uninformed, brainwashed comment.

It really is such a beautiful religion.

An annual month of fasting to focus on the sufferings of the poor and needy. (unless you’re breast feeding or menstruating… Islam really cares for females.) Such a great, spiritual selfless concept… Imagine American non-muslims attempting this!

The Zakat. A religious obligation to donate charity to the deprived and needy…. So thoughtful.

Even in these times of organized western atrocities against them, and the relentless attempt of western superpowers to brainwash the drones in order to maximize Islamophobia, they selflessly give to those of us in need:

Muslim Aid’s immediate response to Haiti earthquake
    The Muslim News

Islamic Relief USA even launching a $2.5 million appeal.

Poor effort which will convince nobody. Fasting to focus on the poor and needy= Islamic poor. I see your efforts to dig up charity towards Hati did not reveal anything from lslamic nations but merely from muslim minorities in western countries. It's a disgusting insult to women, considering their theoretical and real position in Ismaci society, to say that Islam cares for females, you must be even stupider than you pretend to be.

What utter rubbish. My host country actually has to INCREASE food imports during ramadhan because the locals have a slap up meal every night and stuff their fat faces until the cannon goes off, signaling the start of the fast.

Then they go home early for a kip (don't have to work a full day in Ramadhan) so they can get up and have the food cooked and ready for the minute that the cannon signals the end.

By the end of the month they are like a bunch of zombies because they're up all night, and therefore do bugger all, all day long, for about the last two weeks of Ramadhan.

Women have to fast a week LONGER because the fucking mullahs say menstruation is a dirty illness (yes, they are uneducated, sexist retards!).

Give me a break Chairman Mao, it's a retarded religion, and you only have to look at the Gulf Muslims walking around Phuket in mufti, looking very relaxed, to see that they only wear these ridiculous fucking outfits back home because they'll get shouted at by the cretinous imams if they don't. They even like the occasional tipple and a bacon sarnie once in a while.

Like most religions, it should be between the individual and their God, but in this one there's a bunch of beardy twats that throw their weight around and act like a good old fashioned fascist dictatorship. They are an evil bunch of bastards, and if the French ban the burqa, it is these demented cunts who will send women out on the street to defy the ban.

They are trying to impose their archaic religious values on everybody else, and the sooner people wise up to it and tell them to fuck off, the better.

The chairman knows fvck all about Islam other than what google tells him and I bet has never lived in an area with a large muslim population, or really read the koran, hadith, or any of their other nonsense, although he will probably claim to have.

Well, actually I've only lived in 3 muslim countries. Egypt, Jordan and Saudi. Was also based in the West bank area for a brief 6 months, but that ain't a country, and I wasn't living with the muslim population.

But anyway. I apologize for having done so.

Reading what some right-wing blog tells you the Koran says is not the same as reading it. You do realise that right?

FRANCE TO BAN SPIDERMAN 27-01-10 FRANCE has pledged to ban Spiderman unless he reveals his secret identity, it emerged last night.

'To be honest, the all-in-one body suit is the least of my problems'
The web-ejaculating superhero has been warned he will be arrested if he is seen swinging through the streets of Paris while wearing his lycra facemask with the big, shiny eyes.

French MP Jean-Pierre Delafarge said: "His all-een-one, figure-ugging bodysuit wiz its built-een web-shooters and matching balaclava ees a challenge to our republic and a symbol of ze oppression of spiders."

But a source close to the superhero said: "We may not like it but Spiderman has to cover his face. It's part of his spidey-culture.

"It's a shame because if you just let him go about his spidey-business unmolested, then eventually he might say, 'you know what, being French is even better than being Spiderman' and he'll remove it of his own accord."

The source added: "And anyway, what fucking business is it of yours? If he's using his spidey-suit to smuggle drugs or bombs then fair dos. But he's not, so piss off. If they don't want Spiderman in France then they should just say so."

Prime minister Gordon Brown said there were no plans for a superhero facemask ban in the UK, adding: "Who is Spiderman? I honestly don't know, but I suspect he may be closer than you think..." before winking repeatedly and being led away by the Cabinet Secretary.

French MPs must now decide whether the legislation will also cover Batman, Robin and the Mexican swordsman Zorro, though some have called for an exemption as they do at least display their chins.

A French government spokesman said the ban will include ninjas.

Done it a hundred times. lived in Saudi and still calls it a beautiful religion - definitely certifiable. Or maybe he just went between work and hotel and never saw anything!, certainly never learned much. Seems to have been around rather a lot for an unemployed youngster who only works 15 hours a month for a relative. But then people claim all sorts of things on here and never back it up

Hey aren't you the same guy that accuses others of abusing people instead of answering questions and has stated several times something to the effect that: 'I can't be bothered backing that up with links (read: actual objective evidence)'.

Yeah you are, that was you. Guess that makes you a raging hypocrite then, doesn't it.

Please CM I have worked in Muslim countries and Ramadan is a joke. They sleep all day and pig out all night, though I don't believe in the nonsense that is religion, I don't think the sleeping all day and feasting at night is what Mohamed or Allah had in mind as sacrifice.

Also just because horrible things like sexually abused children and torturied prisoners from the Muslim world are not often in the news doesn't mean it is not happening. It just isn't being reported by families or the media.

I suspect because that's what happens when you don't put up with their shit. If they acted in Europe like they act in Thailand (which is pretty well under the radar), I doubt there would be a problem. If they acted here like they do in Europe, I'm fairly certain all hell would break loose.

Christians may go around in Thailand trying to preach, but they don't run around demanding that laws are bent or changed to suit their religion. Nor do they go around with a chip on their shoulder, rioting when one of their unemployed criminal youths falls to his death while trying to escape police across a high roof having been caught red handed burgling someones house - an offence which is still punishable in many muslim countries by amputation of the hand.

By the way, when I was delivering emergency relief in Kamala in 2004, they were all very polite at the local masjid, but no way I was I allowed inside. I found that quite insulting, especially as even here in a Muslim country, non-believers are encouraged into the places of worship at weekends to explore (after prayers, mainly because there's sod all room during them), much as they are in Thailand (sensible dress code being common to both). And many of the much-needed supplies I had bought them were donated by Muslims.

In my experience, some Muslims are more paranoid than others. And I specifically use the word paranoid, because I know many devout Muslims who do not have a chip on their shoulder if they are surrounded by people who aren't. But there are many, in my experience normally the poor and marginalised such as Pakistani or Bangladeshi labourers, for whom Islam is a like a gang tat. And they are the most easily brainwashed.

Sorry Ant, 20 years in the sandpit mate, I know my way around. It does have its good points and I have many decent Muslim friends (most of whom like a beer and the footy!), but the undercurrent of mind control is sinister and depressing, and I wouldn't ever dream of retiring to a Muslim country (even though Malaysia is still supposed to be nice, in parts).

The trouble is in this part of the world, if you call a dickhead a dickhead, and he happens to be a Muslim, you are insulting Islam, even if he's just a dickhead.

    Added:

    Oh and Chairman Mao:
Khalifa dispatches 50 tonnes of emergency aid to Haiti
How incredibly generous of the senior member of the oligarchy that basically steals and squanders at least two thirds of its countrys income.
