A DAD seen flattening a yob in a clip sweeping the internet was yesterday unmasked as an ex-soldier - with TWO black belts.

The Sun tracked down Gulf War veteran Jason Smith, 35, who said: "He deserved it."

Burly Jason - a 15st master in karate and jiu-jitsu - was filmed felling the foul-mouthed idiot outside his home as a crowd gathered.

The clip has been viewed 200,000 times on The Sun's website.

Advwho has been a bodyguard to stars, had no idea why local "hard nut" Les Andrews stood on his step ranting and raving in St Helens, Merseyside.

He decked him with a single blow. Wife Rebecca, 23, who had cowered with 22-month daughter Boudiccia, said: "I was proud."
Andrews, 23, was arrested and hit with a curfew for yobbery.
Jason said of becoming a web sensation: "People sick of yob culture enjoy seeing someone turn the tables."

THE yob seen on The Sun's website being floored by an ex-soldier is threatening to sue us - for humiliating him.

Les Andrews, 23, got on to his solicitor after more than 200,000 readers saw him belted by Jason Smith. The thug rang us and said: "I'm going to sue. I've got everyone staring at me because of this.
"He should be apologising to me. What have I got to apologise for ? I got arrested for it at the time and I got a fine. Now I feel all depressed."

But Gulf War veteran Jason, 35, told how his life had been made hell by yobs like Andrews in St Helens, Merseyside. After complaining to police FIFTY times in a year, the 15st karate and jiu-jitsu black belt snapped when Andrews swore and pushed him on his doorstep.

Yesterday Jason said: "These thugs repeatedly abused me and my family and damaged our property. I've never gone out looking for trouble but think you've got to be able to defend yourself." He has now moved away from the estate with daughter Boudiccia, 22 months, and wife Rebecca, 23.

Makes a change normally those confronting the yobs get beaten, sometimes to death just for asking them to move on and keep the noise down. The Police do nothing and in a recent case a tormented woman in Barwell Leics torched her car with herself and daughter in it as she was tired of years of abuse from kids outside her house, Police said it was the local Councils responsibility. I should think think this guy will be prosecuted and have to pay the 'victim' compo

I'm guessing the older guy maybe knew the chav from the neighborhood and hence wasn't taking him for much of a threat, because otherwise he was risking a knee in the nuts or Wigan kiss at that range- somebody was even yelling "push him off," which is a lot nicer than what I thought the punk deserved; come to think of it, so is a straight punch to the gob.

The thing is now everybody'll see themselves as him and some poor twat'll get stabbed thinking they can emulate his moves, we've also only seen part of the confrontation, we've not seen what lead to the show down. I've done a lot of martial arts and I'd be of a mind to back track things even further to not having the confrontation take place in the first place.
