Three policewomen spend full day dressed in Muslim burkhas in controversial 'In Your Shoes' exercise

Three female police officers were ordered to dress up as Muslim women for the day just to see what it felt like.
They wore traditional burkhas as part of a scheme designed to help police interact better with the Islamic community.
Two covered their faces with hijab headscarves and niqab veils, leaving only narrow slits to see through, and another wore Muslim dress and a headscarf showing her face.

Dressing up: Sergeant Deb Leonard, PCSO Helen Turner and Sgt Deb Pickering in Muslim clothing.

Sorry but you can only recognise one of them....The other two look like terrorists

Just more stupid appeasement towards the won't integrate, can't integrate ever demanding and moaning 'victims'.

Were they wearing suicide vests just to get the full experience ??

Given that the police are overwhelmingly fascist thugs, it doesn't seem like a bad idea, although sending out only 3 plods dressed like this seems a bit pointless. It's PR guff - nothing significant.

Bet they loved wearing that stuff...well the girl in the middle got the best deal.

I think Saree's are quite beautiful also some of the muslim clothes...just leave out the burka would you please.
