This generosity was later repaid after king Philips war with the wholesale theft of native property.

Kind of got your needle stuck in a groove there don't ya son?

But they ate meat and fish and roots and berries all summer and hundreds starved to death every winter because they could not take responsibility to store food, grow any crops or remember last winter and what happened.
I was raised in the PNW with Indians and close to 2 reservations.

As Crazy Dog says, you always bring them up, and never in a good light. Just like your overt racist attitude towards blacks . . . and no-one seems to care about your filthy language anymore either . . . war of attrition. Thankfully time is on our side.

Have a nice day . . . oh, it's Sunday and the year is 2009

This digging son's grave would never happen in the U.K. Health and Safety you know. You would need a grave digging course and certificate before it would happen.

First, this young man died before his time and from the OP appeared to have a lot of character... Something that is sorely lacking in many Americans today...

I agree with DD's sentiment that the US should focus more on improving the quality of life of their own citizens instead of maintaining a massive military, non-essential pork-barrel spending and meddling in the affairs of every country on the planet... The educational needs of these folks should be targeted to help them become a producing member of society as apposed to a leach on it's resources...[/quote]

While I agree that America should meddle less in the affairs of other nations and I also agree that maintaining a large military is wasteful I do not, however, think that the circumstances of this persons burial arrangements have anything to do with those things nor do I think one can draw any conclusions on the 'character' of Americans from this.

Well why don't you and the HAT add something to prove me wrong instead of posting denigrating posts directed at me instead of the topic?

There is a perfect example of what I mean, nothing to say but have to post something to see your name on the screen.
