One car hit the roof of a house, then landed on another car on the way back down.
PLANO — Plano police are investigating a bizarre overnight accident at 17th Street and Jupiter Road.
Police spokesman Rick McDonald said a driver who was going too fast on an S-curve flew across the parking lot of First Presbyterian Church, went airborne, and hit the roof of a house behind the church shortly after midnight Wednesday.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle on impact and was pinned underneath the car as it crashed to the ground.
The driver, whose name was not available, was seriously injured.
In addition to heavily damaging the house, the speeding car also crashed into a parked car outside the residence.
The speed limit on that stretch of Jupiter Road is 35 mph.
