Dane guilty of genital mutilation

A Danish woman has been convicted of having two of her daughters genitally mutilated in Denmark's first such case to come before a court.

The mother, who is of African origin, was also accused with her husband of planning a trip to Sudan to circumcise another daughter, aged five.

She was given a two-year sentence but freed, AFP news agency says, as she had already spent four months in jail.

A 2003 law makes genital mutilation punishable by up to six years in jail.

The father of the two girls, aged 10 and 12, said he did not know what was happening and was acquitted.

Female circumcision is most common in Africa. It involves the surgical removal of a young girl's clitoris or other genital parts.

Some 100 to 140 million girls and women around the world have undergone genital mutilation, including 6.5 million in Western countries, according to a 2007 study by the French National Institute for Demographic Research.

Female circumcision can cause death through haemorrhaging and later complications during childbirth. It also carries risks of infection, urinary tract problems and mental trauma.

Sudanese 'refugees' have flooded into the UK in recent years, burgeoning the ailing economy.

Most of the Sudanese I knew were Islamic and petty criminals, who were claiming a full spread of Social Security benefits while working at the same time.
Of course all the money they earn and steal they send back to Sudan.

They are of no benefit to Britain, merely a burden.

I do not think so, it is not done here that I have heard of, selling your daughter or pimping for her is quite the norm tho in some circles and quite accepted practice.

As a boy with a Danish father growing up in England I am afraid to say that very few of my British friends had any clue where Denmark is. Most of them thought that Danish come from Holland

I doubt any of them had heard of Sudan either

Sorry Tex we don't have "African Danish" only resent emigrants who has prematurely in some cases been issued with a Danish passport.

In this case it definitely has been premature since they have no sense of civilised behaviour and disregard Danish law, but I am glad to see that they are convicted, it has been an uphill struggle, first we managed to get convictions when the procedure was done in Denmark and the people doing it got convicted to, then they started sending the young girls home to their home country's and had the procedure done there, now we can convict even if done outside Denmark and as in this case even if only planning to do it. (Uphill struggle because during the cause we where accused by the usual crowd of being racist not accepting cultural differences aso. aso.)

It is meant to take away the sex drive of females so they don't have any desires to commit adultery, in many of the country's that still do this, a Girl who have not had the procedure is impossible to get married as she is not considered a good Girl.

The level of mutilation is different from region to region, some places they cut away clitoris and the inner lips and then sow it all together leaving only a very small opening that often ruptures during the child's/girls first intercourse, other regions just cut away the "the little bean" but it is all done without anaesthesia, usually by an Old lady( adept at the procedure) or some older female member of the family while other female family members hold the girl down, the Girls do not know in advance what is going to happen to them and is taken by force.

I have one time seen it in a documentary the girl was 10 years old and it was absolutely horrifying, it all boils down to the Muslim males brave stranglehold on their women.

I have a love for pussy so it hurts me to read that some foolish person has had it cut off her daughters. I believe we need more pussy...not less. It saddens me to know that there are people out there that wants to decrease that nice feel you get when someone is rodding the hell out of you...shame on you.
