So you think the Thai police are bad.

LAGOS, Nigeria – One of Nigeria's biggest daily newspapers reported that police implicated a goat in an attempted automobile theft. In a front-page article on Friday, the Vanguard newspaper said that two men tried to steal a Mazda car two days earlier in Kwara State, with one suspect transforming himself into a goat as vigilantes cornered him.
The paper quoted police spokesman Tunde Mohammed as saying that while one suspect escaped, the other transformed into a goat as he was about to be apprehended.
The newspaper reported that police paraded the goat before journalists, and published a picture of the animal.
Police in the state couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

Did the suspect bust the ceiling lamp before or after shape-shifting into a goat?

He must've panicked. I would have chosen a small bird. Or a dinosaur.

I wondered about that, too, but in the end I kind of get it. Goats blend in much better than a dinosaur or saber-toothed tiger (my first choice) would in a Nigerian town, and are less likely to get nabbed by a predator than a small bird. Plus they can always find something to eat, and get laid a lot.

Considering the cop's name is Muhammed I would have changed into a pig . . . and walked right past them as they scurry for cover.

Anyway, Nigeria - Thailand. Fair comparison

Don't suppose you have the published picture... or a link.

    Goat apprehended

Apparently he failed to make his goataway. BBC NEWS | Africa | Nigeria police hold 'robber' goat (with picture of. . .a goat)

Seems he was nabbed by vigilantes in a "community" where the kops won't patrol. They are holding the goat until investigations are over, i.e., until they find out whose goat it is.

I had an e-mail from a goat in Nigeria the other day, said he had a wealthy brother called Billy who was trying to get 4 gazillion dollars out of the country. Wanted to know if I could help.
