So, you're disregarding completely the troubles that have been going on seemingly forever in the Southern PI, DD? The kidnappings, bombings, piracy & murders?

I also have a problem with any country that has signs in supermarkets telling you to check your gun into the place where you leave your bags.

Thailand may have plenty of problems, but I'd choose here over the Philippines, any day.

BTW, Chi, you're lucky I like you so much. My redding finger was itching when I saw that pic of the chick foetus . Urrrggghhh!

So the last major consideration is do they have any decent beer there?
Tiger beer is from the Philipines.

They do like a scrap, tooled up sometimes unlike the Thais. The women are well horny; like the way they speak Ingrish with that Spanish lilt
    Tiger is from Malaysia.

    San Miguel is from Flipperland.

Indeed. Singaporeans bear the shame of the beer. But it was a close run thing apparently:

Listed on the Singapore Exchange, Asia Pacific Breweries Limited (APB) is one of the key players in the beer industry. A joint venture between the Fraser and Neave Group of companies and Heineken International, APB was established as Malayan Breweries Limited (MBL) in 1931. It went on to open its first brewery in Singapore and launched the award-winning Tiger Beer a year later.

Personally i think its shite and will drink almost anything else.

On subject, the misleadingly named San Miguel Light is a drinkable drop.

Correct. Anchor is Malaysian - not to be confused with Angkor, which is Cambodian. Tiger is from Singapore, Bintang from Indonesia, San Miguel from Philippines, 333 (bababa) from Vietnam, and Heineken from Thailand.

Stand corrected about source of Tiger beer. Meant San Miguel is Phiipino as have been supping both Red Horse and Tiger lately perusing the labels and got them mixed up.

Still think their accent has a Spanish lilt, Yank too though....a hybrid thing all of their own. Women are more westernised because of their Spanish/American influence.
