    I wrote out a long post but made a mistake while trying to close Itunes and deleted it!!!!

    Oh well, my basic message was the US is more open to foreigners whorking the media than the UK and places like Thailand. Is ther even one reporter on the BBC who has an American accent?

    Alistair Cooke originall from the UK lived in America most of his life. I would say he was pretty much an American. That's why he was so great!

    Well actually a little confused about this. on wiki it says he's 'British born', and stayed there for 4 years before his family emigrated to US. Does that make him British?
