I was sitting on the bus from Kampong Saom to Phnom Penh and all the locals were in fits of laughter at what I presumed was some Khmer nonsense on the coach TV. Do you think Muslim extremists should be allowed to stay in their adopted country and plot to destroy it?

According to the BBC site the intended victim was a Gahnian Muslim serving in the British Amy who was known to one of the gang and was home on leave from Afganistan

I sincerely wish moslem people to live free. I don't side with the people who hate Islam. But at the same time, I can't understand why western countries don't crack down on the people they are letting in. Things are really out of control in the UK and some other countries. People who move to the UK really should assimilate into the culture not confront it. The UK gov't and others should draw a line for the sake of peace in their nations and try to set some standards which must be accepted by those entering the country. I don't know what should be done but some things should be done. In other countries you are required to dress certain ways and act certain ways and speak certain languages in public.

People shouldn't be threatened by foreigners in their own country.


At the same time the Western powers should just get out of the middle east. Let those people deal with their own crap. Don't give them visas into the western countries if they can't accept foreign cultures.
