It's good to read that high house prices and unemployment don't cause debt problems anymore. I suppose with the right to buy there are now loads of unemployed people being given free houses by the State.

In the USA, far and away the major cause of bankruptcy is medical bills. I'm guessing that the #2 cause is just buying a lot of sh*t that you don't need, like SUV's, oversized houses, liquid plasma TV's, etc... I wish the place was interesting enough for people to go broke due to sex addiction.
