Who do you suggest. Jd Vance? Hegseth? Both a couple of slippery characters

The John Bolton who supported the Iraqi invasion that was based on false intelligence and created Islamic State?

Well fuck, we should listen to what he says then.

If you think there is a good argument for why Trump should not have walked away from JCPOA just say what you think.

The 'I am not going to tell you what I think, you have to guess what I think from my breathless exasperation' debating posture is for girls in frilly dresses.

    I’ll humor you, Loopey.

They would have been severely restricted on the amount uranium enrichment, for 15 years. There would have been limits on their centrifuges, for 10 years. Research and development limitations for 10 years. And most importantly, Iran agreed to allow the IAEA regular access to its nuclear facilities.

Anything would have been a better plan, than just pulling out of the deal, altogether. Much like his answer to Obama care, where he had “concepts of a plan“
Corporal Cheez-its, has no real answers. He just couldn’t stand the fact that Obama helped broker the deal.

Would Iran have upheld their end of the bargain? We’ll never know.

    “totally obliterated”-DJT

Perhaps Pvt. Poopy-Pants shouldn’t use such big words, when he obviously doesn’t know their meaning!
WASHINGTON/TEL AVIV/ISTANBUL, June 24 (Reuters) - U.S. airstrikes did not destroy Iran's nuclear capability and only set it back by a few months, according to one initial U.S. intelligence assessment, as a shaky ceasefire brokered by President Donald Trump took hold between Iran and Israel.

A fair and cogent summary of the merits of the JCPOA agreement from our erudite scholar, BB.

Mr. Trump's post bombing behavior is extraordinary. I find the cowardice of the GOP at calling Mr. Trump to account for the lies about the success of the bombing and cease fire agreements even more troubling.

You don't find their general supineness in the last nine years troubling?

All they've ever done is support every piece of shit the orange turd utters.

Pete Hegseth also copped some flack from the New York Times for saying 'our boys on those bombers' during his press conference after the bombing run.

The NYT got in a high frump, stating 'yet both men and women have been trained to fly them'

Hegseth was still being accurate since the crew were in fact all male, apparently.

The Left and its tedious and banal censoriousness towards traditional, culturally rich, gendered language, in favour of neutered, bland, flavourless NewSpeak is disappearing up its own arsehole in irrelevance.

You have to laugh when you read such gems as...

the whereabouts of about 400kg of highly enriched uranium is unknown.

Possibly hegseth demanded that no female or transgender pilots be allowed to fly?

May have to? You always do! You have no rebuttal, so in usual Loopey fashion, you ignore or obfuscate, and wait for the next controversy, regurgitate some MAGA bullshit, and the cycle begins again.

    You’re a pompous bore.

by the way, I noticed you ignored Trump’s complete exaggeration, of the success of his bombing mission. :crickets:

I was not aware that my opinion had been requested. But, if that is an invitation then I would say:

It is disappointing and petulant that Trump engages in this routine denial of anything that might not reflect well. It just seems to be his style. I think everyone sees through it, so I don't really regard it as a seriously pernicious attempt to deceive. Still, it would be more statesmanlike of him to be more honest.

The bombings may or may not have had the decisive effect that they were supposed to have. We don't know yet. But, either way they have set a precedent for Iran that they can expect to have the shit bombed out of them if they try to build a nuclear weapon, which may discourage further attempts.

If they managed to squirrel away their 60% uranium maybe they will figure out selling it is simpler than trying to progress their enrichment further. Or, maybe they will build their next enrichment facility underneath a hospital in Tehran for better protection.

I don't think choosing to use culturally traditional, gendered language, like 'our boys', is dog-whistling. Many people are getting a bit tired of the Left's petty obsession with sterilised language policing.

And this is the kind of witless changing of goalposts that idiots like you try and do every time.

    I quoted and replied to:

The Fox News drunk actually lied in his confirmation hearing by saying that the military had gender quotas.

    They don't.

But that didn't stop all the GOP confirming his appointment, because they do what the lying orange sack of shit tells them to do.
The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth
