    I visted Jo Bejlke-Baldricksland and enjoyed Townsville and even more the lovely Magnetic Island offshore

    coles and woolworths are empty of meat and fruit and vegetables , bottled water and or course toilet paper - with the bridge failure ( who was the govt flunkey who signed off the contractors ) it may be a while till the colesworth monopoly is restocked

    but butchers and bakers still work , and there are local markets for produce - but of course this will impact the lowest income earners the most

    I would like to see a freight rail from down south to the cape up the west side of the range to solve this yearly issue

    Exactly, it’s a bit like rain in Bangkok. Happens every year, floods every year. Every year people are surprised.
