Thread: Why is it so Hot Everywhere?

Well it is winter for NZ, though I still receive the cold complaints from people there - Christchurch friends freezing, nephew Masterton -3C, even Auckland brother in Mission Bay (Misery Bay today, he has a hot water bottle!) at 4C which is about as cold as Auckland ever gets.
I was packing up in Wellington to come back here this time last year after a 6mth contract there; what a miserable place that is year-round, not on my 'visit again' list.

Meanwhile, coastal Chanthaburi today a nice mild 30C at 9am, realfeel 37, little change during the day a high of 31C forecast from 11am. Not complaining; prefer the heat, seems rain season has missed us, an August drought.
