The invocation of being God's instrument and on a 'journey' is of course simply a recitation of the average American's fatuous belief their futile lives actually have a purpose when in truth most are mere sacks for food and fillers of pisspots.

However, there is a serious aspect to this idiot's criminal behaviour which evidently has gone unpunished. Comedians making edgy jibes at the expense of their audience can now b assaulted with apparent impunity because the butt of their jokes takes offence?

Chris Rock should press charges and the Academy should withdraw the award. Smith can always claim it was God's will.
