Maybe OhOh can tell us how many middle eastern asylum seekers china accepts every year as a humanitarian gesture? Why are muslim refugees not flocking to their fellow states like Bahrain UAE saudi Arabia etc? The problem is the UN law is no longer fit for purpose. It was designed to rellocate European migrants after the war. The UN convention on refugees encourages many to seek asylum. They are now not only fleeing to a safe country but expect to go to the country of their choice. The reality is that europe and the west cannot take every migrant/refugee that wishes to go there. The Refugee convention needs to be rejigged to fit the new political reality.
