The squid should have at least waited until the ink was dry. Or taken them to small clams court.

It boggles the mind how a live, loaded fucking gun can be being used on a movie set.

I always thought that replica guns had a smaller bore that would allow for blanks but not real bullet sizes.

I know then can add flashes and bangs afterwards but you still need to see the recoil to make it believable.

I read somewhere that members of the film crew were using the cowboy guns for target practice during their off hours — and it’s possible some bullets were left in the chamber.

Could it be a question of familiarity breeds contempt? Does US have any sort of mandatory firearms training for gun owners/handlers? In Canada in order to be able to buy a hunting rifle one has to go on a basic gun handling course which covers all the stuff discussed. Never point and anyone, always check if empty when handed to, etc... Would Alec have gone through any of that?
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all

In Canada you only need the permit and safety course to own guns, not to shoot them. You can go shooting with a friend who owns them without requiring the permit or course.

Real guns are used, but blanks have less of a charge. Almost no recoil with blanks.
