he was a man who was unecessarily glorified and became very entitled purely because he could jump high and throw a ball into a net, big fucking deal. by all accounts he was also an aggressive and rather unpleasant character, and when aggressive and unpleasant people die, i feel no sadness and no overwhelming desire to glorify them further.
