The percentage of Russians who have never tried pizza
The organizing committee of the Delivery Fest festival and ResearchMe found that 18 percent of Russian citizens have never tried pizza. This is evidenced by the results of the study, received by the editors of Lenta.ru .
In total, 3900 adult network users from all districts of Russia took part in the study. First of all, they were asked to choose their favorite foreign cuisine of the world. Most - 32 percent - turned out to be fans of Italian dishes. Georgian cuisine came in second: 31 percent of respondents voted for it. The third is Japanese, which was chosen by 21 percent of Russians.
Such results are true for all federal districts, except for the Siberian, North Caucasian and Far Eastern. In Siberia and the Caucasus, Georgian cuisine is in first place, and Chinese in the Far East.
Then, the study participants were asked if they had tried the dishes of the three most popular foreign cuisines in Russia (Italy, Georgia and Japan) at least once in their life. It turned out that 18 percent of Russian citizens have never tried pizza, 22 percent have never eaten rolls, and 23 percent have not ordered khinkali.
Almost all (90 percent) of the respondents admitted that they like to try traditional food from other nations of the world. 47 percent even said they cook foreign dishes at home.
In June, delivery club food delivery service experts named the most popular type of kebab among Russians. The most popular was pork kebab: it was ordered by 44 percent of users of the Delivery Club application. The second place was taken by chicken skewers (29 percent), the third - lamb skewers (7 percent).
