Thread: U.S Government shut down.

The whole "illegal immigration" debate is a huge scam because ALL immigrants (legal and otherwise) BENEFIT the economy. If they are illegal, they pay all sorts of taxes and usually contribute to a Social Security system that they cannot access until they become citizens. They take only the jobs that are difficult to fill because of low wages, difficult work and lack of benefits. They do not qualify for welfare or any other government service if they are illegal. You cannot tell this to a Trump supporter because they keep repeating the mantra that illegals are "bankrupting" the country. Never in American history has such a bogus platform spun off into such a fascist movement. Most Republicans understand that the issue is completely false, but it gets votes and support, so it continues to be perpetuated.
