Their aim isn't to win them. Their aim is to keep them ongoing. How much do the US tax payers fund the war machine with each year? None of the people in power want to stop that gravy train with decisive victories in illegitimate wars. And besides, how many countries does the US have its (unwanted) military stationed in?
