In the Far East is it not the norm for rich people to want desirable land in the city centre that is occupied by shanty old buildings and developers need the land to rejuvenate into modern buildings now worth millions.
It's even happened in Sydney, with a murder trail because one tenant was stubborn.
Kuala Lumpur has an ancient village in its centre and that's gonna be flattened one day to make way, because it's the way of the world.
Of course this doesn't happen in London.
