No end of those, though the last 'war' the US actually won was Grenada 1983, as a face saving distraction from the Lebanon fiasco; Britland was WWII with Falklands thrown in to win an election, and France somewhere in Napoleonic times if not including NAfrican genocides.

The west is way too civilised, which is why NK can do as it pleases short of actually launching serious stuff to reached our 'unacceptable' red line after which the worst has already happened and things get interesting. Until then lots of words to manipulate public opinion, gold and stockmarkets.
