Move over, Facebook, Google, Apple, Microsoft etc. Bow before your new Masters- the Evil Russian hackers! Your mass media is impotent before the Power of RT and Pravda. Prostrate yourself, and beg for mercy.

Drawing a hell of a conclusion there.

This is pretty much all I see. The only 'evidence' is that the idiots who were 'hacked' clicked on a goddamn phishing link.

    A phishing link.

O-Bama should be sanctioning the idiot employees clicking questionable links in their email THEN ENTERING THIER PASSWORDS.

    ON GOVERNMENT SPONSORED EQUIPMENT.

    Seriously wtf

Should there be an inquiry into this alleged hacking it wont be a real inquiry but a witch hunt starting with the conclusion that 'Russia did it' whatever it might be, and going out to attempt to prove it. And if there is no proof then the facts can always be twisted to suit the conclusion which is that Russia is the big boogy man out to control the world.

Do it. Bring along the Aussies and Kiwis with you. Align with the benevolence of Putin and Russia's allies to oppose and bring down America the evil empire.

Big win for both Europe and America.

^ Well, no Norton. EU & US will remain allies- they have much to be allied about. But the EU abdicating it's responsibilities to it's citizens in terms of self defence and foreign policy is not a good thing.

US policy with regard to, say, Russia is not aligned with European interests- Russia being the dominant energy supplier to Europe, and Europe being the largest foreign investor in Russia. EU needs to find it's own voice on behalf of it's people- not be subsumed to Nato.

Similar tensions may arise with respect to Aus, US & China. China being Australia's dominant export market, the US it's security 'guarantor' (parentheses because it is unofficial).

Two kinds of Trumpites. The ones that think computers can't be trusted because they too dumb to understand them and the self-styled computer geeks who think they know more than the US combined cyber intelligence experts.

Because phishing is so complex. It requires a group of dumbasses to click on something and enter their passwords.

Said group of dumbasses must cover said dumbass by sanctioning Russia & claiming Trump knew about it.

According to the report it was a very sophisticated scheme. The phishing email was sent to thousands so it seems plausible that someone could have clicked on it. Of course in your superior wisdom about this stuff you would know best.

superior wisdom for not clicking on a phishing email ? 99% of users are dumb (see IT threads on TD for plenty of examples) and shouldn't be allowed near a computer, let alone use emails without adult supervision

Obviously Technology should be reserved to an elite, not the mass.

Nope still not there. Click all you want, click the fuck out of it. Its a nothing burger until you are dumb enough to put your email password into the pop-up. Sophisticated looking, or not. This shit is government sponsored stuff. These jokers had plenty of idiot training about this as its completely kindergarten level.

Furthermore, not one shred of evidence implies Putin. More like implies 'hackers' from fuck knows where.

I'm going to remain open minded about it. Trump should also allow himself to be briefed on the complete classified report before dismissing it. Doesn't say much for a president to be sceptical of something before being completely informed. If it was his campaign that was hacked he probably wouldn't be shooting from the hip about it.

Really! What does it say about the sitting president who without the facts, obviously jumped the gun, imposses sanctions and deportations on executive order?
Clearly the actions of tired desperate political hack trying to undermine confidence in the election results, a lame duck behavior at it's finest and final hour.

    Kinda fucking pathetic!

Does seem premature. Obviously a attempt to hand Trump a shit sandwich.

I don't see how sanctions et al at this point undermines the confidence in the election results. The electoral college has spoken so that ship has sailed. The fact is, Trump is behaving childishly, like it's an affront to his ego. He has a lot to learn about the dignity of the office he is about to enter.

The electoral college has spoken so that ship has sailed. The fact is, Trump is behaving childishly, like it's an affront to his ego. you mean like bowing before some fuckwit Saudi motherfuckers, I agree, the Donald is very unlikely to learn that trick,
